Hello, my name is Josh and I would consider music to be not only a life-enriching hobby of mine, but also a significant incentive for my decision to study education. I currently work part-time at a music school and teach piano through both private tuition and group lessons. I also understand that not everybody feels confident within the area of music, and that teaching music in a school context may seem overwhelming. I'm hoping that the music workshop will provide some clarification and reassurance in that music is quite a flexible field in the curriculum, and that there are ways to teach it without having to be a brilliant musician. There are many creative opportunities in teaching music, so feel free to come along to the workshop to listen or share ideas, regardless of your musical 'background'.
